The membership year for the Marissa Historical and Genealogical Society begins on October 1st and concludes on September 30th the following year. Being a member allows people the privilege of submitting queries throughout the year.

NOTE: Renewal notices for the 2010-2011year will be sent around Sept. 1, 2010. Present members for whom we have an e-mail address will be getting their notice over the internet.

Students see information below

All memberships include four issues of the Society's publication, "Branching Out From St. Clair County, Illinois." Persons joining during the year will receive the four quarterlies covering the membership period. The missed quarterlies will not be mailed until the next issue following payment of dues. Publication is during the months of November, February, May and August of each year.

If you desire a Membership Card, please send an SASE with your Dues and Application.

There are four different types of memberships which are:

1. Individual, family or library for an annual fee of $25.00, only one quarterly per family.
2. Patron membership - $25.00.
3. Life Membership - $200.00.
4. Student Membership (Junior High, Senior High and College Students) - $10.00
